Project 11 Part 1
In this video, I used techniques such as fast panning, slow panning, close up shots, bugs eye shots, and birds eye shots. I enhanced the video by making colors more vibrant and brighter, some shots needed to be slowed down, while others sped up. I also made the video flow with fading and blur transitions along with a ripple transition at the end.

Project 11 Part 2
For this video I also had many panning shots along with some motion shots. I enhanced the video by making the colors darker and making the panning scenes seem panicked. I also used the zoom in and zoom out method and used mostly blur and fade transitions between clips. I believe that the most effective clips were the drinking fountain and the moving swings.

Project 9
Fine Art
The subject in this photo portrays a mood of pride along with a feeling of power. The lighting from the right makes the face shine and reflects nicely off the plain white shirt.
Fine Art
The face expression of the subject looks deep in thought. The body position is in a power stance. The back is straight while the body is leaning in with one foot forward. The hands are partially in the pockets indicates that the subject has something on their mind.
Magazine Cover
I made this cover black and white to bring in all the colors from the original edited photo. I experimented with different style fonts and colors to achieve a professional looking magazine cover. The subject in the photo looks very concentrated on his task.
Magazine Cover
The subject, photo edits and background look professional for a magazine cover. There are no shadows in the cover photo and the colors contrast nicely together. The subject looks lost in a sense between wonder and confusion.

Project 9 pre-work
Richard Avedon Fine Art Portrait
The photo evokes a feeling of thought and creativity. The lighting is very even on both sides and the white and black contrast adds more mood to the photo. The photo is very symetrical.
Philippe Echaroux Fine Art Portrait
This photo shows a mood of wonder and happiness. The lighting coming from the top adds more meaning to this photo and the gray hair contrasts great with the surrounding black background.
Orange Rock magazine cover
The lighting and crossed arms make Lebron look intimidating and the red background gives the viewer see anger or furry on the cover. The subject shows strength and power a along with a sense of victory.
Rolling Stones magazine cover
This cover chose to make the subject look entertaining while still having a silly aspect. The photo is going for a funny and exciting mood. The subject is appealing in a friendly manner.

Project 8
Surrealistic Photo
This is my interpretation of surrealism photography. I made this photo by cropping multiple objects, and layering them all into a single photo. I also messed around with scale and color to make the photo look more surreal.

Project 7 Alternative Processes
Daguerreotype
This is a daguerreotype photo of a rabbit. I was able to edit tis photo on photoshop to give it an old look. I layered the photo with a metallic and concrete textures. I made the subject clear while making the surroundings appear blurred. The fur on the rabbit looks very soft.
Cyanotype
This cyanotype was made using a water color paper texture. I was able to crop out the edges of the photo using a type of fan brush. The photo is tinted in a blue tone to add to the cyanotype effect.
Gum Bichromate
Gum Bichromate
This is a gum bichromate of a skateboard out on the road. This was made by layering multiple colors on each over and using techniques such as overlay and lighten on photoshop. I also added a water color paper texture like on the photo above.
Personal Choice
This personal choice is a mix of a daguerreotype and a cyanotype. The tint of the photo makes it a daguerreotype and the rough edges make it look like a cyanotype. I also added a dirty texture to the image to make it look older. I was very pleased to see how this photo had turned out.
Daguerreotype: a photograph taken by an early photographic process employing an iodine-sensitized silvered plate and mercury vapor.
Cyanotype: a photographic printing process that produces a cyan blue print.
Gum Bichromate: 19th-century photographic printing process based on the light sensitivity of dichromates. It is capable of rendering painterly images from photographic negatives.

Project 6
Panorama
This is a panorama of a football field. I was able to stitch multiple photos together on photoshop to make this panorama. I also made the colors brighter and took out all imperfections with the blending tool.
Panorama
I took this photo on the Willamette River in Down Town Portland. This photo was made the same way as the one above but has a more rounded look. I really liked the way this photo came out with the way that the river and sky blend. Parts of the sky were dark and cloudy, others blue, and clear.
Motion
This is a motion picture of the Hawthorn Bridge. I layered multiple images to make this interesting image. Because of the way I layered close and distant pictures, it looks like there are several bridges in this image when really there is only one. I am amazed how this photo came out and really like the surreal fog over the bridge.
HDR
This photo was taken up on Mount Hood. I was able to make this image by layering photos of different brightnesses and exposures. After flattening the images, I turned up the hue and saturation to make a strange HDR photo.
