Cold Mood Photo

This photo depicts a cold mood. The photo shows dark ice with a black background and a light shining beneath the ground. The melting water from the ice formed a river, appearing brighter than the ice itself. The aqua color of the ice and the piece balancing on top of the other three added more curiosity to the photo.

Monochrome Mood Photo

In this photo, I played with the idea of shadows and paperclips. Though the photo appears black and white, you can still see that the colors of the staples differ from one another. This photo shows contrast between the shadows and the actual clips. Some clips are shinny, others are light, and some dark but the shadows of the paperclips appear the same color. 

Warm Mood Photo

This photo gives off a sense of warmth because of the bright colors of the flame. The dark background makes your eyes focus on the flame. The transfer from blue to bright yellow occurs very casually, seamlessly blending the colors. A circle of light between the middle and top of the flame adds to the mood.

Monochrome Grid

 This is a monochrome tile photo of pigeons. The photo is considered a monochrome because of the overall black and white colors of the image. The photo portrays a confusing mood, some photos are tilted at different angles, some tiles repeating themselves more than once. This photo looks a bit vintage, and old. I tinted it with a brownish color to add to the surrealism.

Choice Grid

This is a photo of the same sunflower being altered four different ways. The photo has white lines between all frames adding a type of barrier between them. The frames seems to change the most in the middle of the sunflower, the majority of the colors being warm while the middle is cold offers a sort of color compliment.

Color Compliments Grid

 This photo is considered a color compliment grid because of the cold and warm colors trying to blend. The blue frames make up a zig-zag pattern, and the red and yellow frames trying to go against the blue. This square grid would be a very cool textile material for making clothes. Because of the photo being a square, you can keep adding duplicates of the image to fit the size of your shirt or dress.
